Oxidative stress caused by overproduction of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the brain is widely known as the main cause of neurodegenerative diseases. The aim of this study was to investigate the protective effect of zerumbone in H₂O₂-induced SH-SY5Y cell death and inflammation. Herein, SH-Sy5y cells were treated with 400μM H₂O₂ and treated with various zerumbone concentrations for 24h to measure the degree of neuronal cell death using MTT.
