Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is one of the metabolic diseases which is lack insulin secretion or do not function normally. Inhibition of α-glucosidase and protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B) is major therapeutic mechanism against DM. Thus, we focused on evaluating the inhibitory activity of the methanol extract and solvent-soluble fractions of Morus bombycis leaves against α-glucosidase and PTP1B.
