Personalized nutrition management of the life cycle should be recognized as the need for active nutrition management in line with changes in the social environment, such as an aging population, single-person households, increase in chronic diseases, and westernized dietary habits, and “increase the population practicing healthy eating” as the ultimate goal. Currently, many policies are being implemented under three key strategies: strengthening support for customized nutrition management services, creating an environment and strengthening the foundation for healthy eating practices, and raising public awareness about healthy eating practices. We are strengthening customized nutrition management services for pregnant and lactating women, infants and the elderly, where nutrition management is particularly important.
