In this study, pyrolysis behaviour of different rank fuels was compared, and an artificial neural network (ANN) model was used the predict of the weight loss (TG), derived weight loss (DTG) curves. The activation energy (E), frequency factor (A) of raw kenaf (RK), pre-treatment (torrefaction) of kenaf (TK) and a wide range of rank coal (HG (anthracite coal), NCA (bituminous coal), and Adaro (sub-bituminous coal)) were calculated using a distributed activation energy model (DAEM) at six heating rates (5, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 K/min). For HG, NCA, and Adaro coal, E values were within 318.48–633.61, 231.80–365.97, and 274.77–555.59 kJ/mol, respectively, and for raw and torrefied kenaf were lower at 162.42–214.23 and 170.81–304.47 kJ/mol, respectively. ... 전체 초록 보기
