(연구배경 및 목적) 21세기에 들어서면서 현대사회는 탈 산업시대를 벗어나 정보화 사회(informational society)로 진입하고 신소재, 신기술, 새로운 디자인 컨셉의 등장으로 정보화와 인터넷기술의 발달로 사람들의 심미적 인식과 행위방식이 변화했다. 사람들은 더 이상 전통적인 행동 공간 모드를 필요로 하지 않고 사람들과 소통하고 안내하는 유동적 공간이 필요하게 되었으며 시대의 발전에 맞는 새로운 공간 형식이다. 유동적 공간의 형성은 구조 및 재료와 뗄 수 없는 관계를 가지고 있으며, 반투명 재료는 물리적 특성을 반영 할 뿐만 아니라 미학적 가치도 제공한다. 오늘날 사람들에게 공간에서 시각적 영향뿐만 아니라 유동적이고 열린 공간체계가 필요한 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구는 유동적 공간과 반투명 재료를 대상으로 선행연구를 통한 도출한 요소를 분석함으로써 실재된 사례를 조사 통하여 그의 요소들이 유동적 공간에 활용될 수 있는 제안을 제시하고, 이를 통해 기능적 욕구와 감각적 경험을 충족시키고, 사람들의 공간과의 소통을 촉진하는 유동적 공간디자인을 연구하는 것을 목적으로 한다. (연구방법) 본 연구의 방법은 유동적 공간과 반투명 재료를 연구 대상으로 하여 이론적 고찰을 통한 반투명 재료와 유동적 공간의 정의와 유형을 분석하고 정리한다. 선행연구를 통해 도출된 유동적 공간의 특성과 반투명 재료의 특성을 바탕으로 두 가지 측면에서 반투명 재료에 의한 유동적 공간의 디자인 요소를 도출하고 재정립한다. 이를 토대로 사례 분석을 통해 다각도로 종합 분석하였다. (결과) 유동적 공간과 반투명 재료에 관한 선행연구 고찰을 통하여 반투명 재료에 의한 유동적 공간 나타나는 물리적 연속성, 가변성, 투과성, 다양성, 감각적 유동성, 유도성, 심미성, 모호성의 8가지로 구분할 수 있었다. 도출된 특성을 바탕으로 사례를 분석한 결과 전반적으로 8가지 디자인 요소 중 감각적 유도성과 심미성이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 감각적 유동성>감각적 모호성, 물리적 연속성과 투과성>물리적 가변성으로 나타냈고 물리적 다양성이 가장 낮게 분석되었다. (결론) 정보화 시대에 사람들의 심미적 관념과 행위방식의 변화로 인해 유동적 공간이 새로운 공간형태가 되었다. 유동적 공간의 형성은 재료와 뗄 수 없는 관계를 가지고 있으며, 반투명 재료에 의한 유동공간의 디자인은 공간의 기능적 욕구와 감각적 체험을 만족시킬 뿐만 아니라 사람들이 더욱 탐구하는 흥미를 유발할 수 있고, 사람과 공간의 용합을 촉진하면서 동시에 자유롭고 유동적인 공간 경험을 제공할 수 있으며 다층적인 정신적 즐거움과 심리적 공감을 얻는 역할을 한다.

(Background and Purpose) After entering the 21st century, modern society has gradually broken away from the post-industrial era and entered the information society. With the emergence of new materials and new design concepts, people's aesthetic concepts have changed with the rapid development of information technology. Instead of the closed space model, people need a new space form that can meet the needs of space, the communication between people and conform to contemporary developments. The formation of flowing space has an inseparable relationship with translucent materials, which not only embodies physical characteristics but also provides aesthetic value for flowing space. Therefore, today's people need a flexible and open spatial system, as well as visual effects in space. This study focuses on the flowing space and translucent materials, analyzing the elements of translucent materials in the flowing space. By analyzing the actual semi-transparent design of the flowing space, these elements are reasonably used in the subsequent space design to enhance the overall sense of space flow and better meet people's functional needs, as well as the sensory experience of space. (Method) In this study, flowing space and translucent materials are taken as research objects; their definitions, types and characteristics are analyzed and sorted out through theoretical investigation. Based on the characteristics of flowing space and translucent materials, the design elements of translucent materials in flowing space are obtained and sorted out. Before that, we made a comprehensive analysis from multiple angles through case analysis. (Results) Our initial research on the flowing space and translucent materials concluded that the performance characteristics of translucent materials in flowing space can be divided into physical continuity, variability, light transmission, diversity, sensory mobility, guidance, aesthetics and fuzziness. Based on the obtained characteristics, the example is analyzed. The results show that sensory guidance and aesthetics are the highest among the eight design elements, Second, the fluidity of senses is higher than the fuzziness of senses; the continuity and transparency of physics are higher than the variability of physics, and the diversity of physics is the weakest. (Conclusions) The change in people's aesthetic idea and behavior mode in the information age makes the flowing space a new space form. The formation of the flowing space has an inseparable relationship with translucent material; it uses a translucent material design, which can not only meet the functional requirements of flowing space and sensory experience but also effectively motivate people to further explore an interest; it promotes the fusion of people and space, as well as provides people with a free, the space of flow experience, In this way, people can obtain multi-level psychological resonance.
