This study was to investigate the level of exercise behavior according to the demographic characteristics of sports leaders and to verify the difference in sub-factors of job stress and social psychological health index according to the level of exercise behavior. The survey was conducted using 167 sports leaders using the exercise behavior change stage, job stress, and social psychological health questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 version program to perform basic statistics, Cronbach`s Alpha, exploratory factor analysis, cross analysis, and one-way ANOVA. In sports leaders’ sports behavior, male leaders showed high frequency of maintenance, preparation, and indifference. The sports leader could be seen in his 40s with distinctly high preparation and maintenance for exercise. The maintenance stage of exercise behavior was high in the career of 15 years or more. The exercise behavior was high in the maintenance stage in coach, head coach, and instructor. Above all, it is necessary to pay attention to the coach’s exercise indifference. The difference in job stress according to the level of sports leader’s exercise behavior was statistically significant only in organizational system factors. Especially, it was found that it was higher in indifference, preparation, and interest than action and maintenance. Social psychological health was highly perceived by the group that continuously practiced and maintained exercise. Sports leaders who continue to action and maintain exercise perceived job stress related to organizational system low and social psychological health was high.
