This study reveals what mechanisms can lead to long-term and short-term performance. The survey was conducted on 150 small-medium logistics companies in Korea for about a month in September 2020. The results and implications were as follows. First, the types of win-win cooperation and conflicts in the large and small companies in the logistics industry affect short-term performance(cost improvement effects) and long-term performance(participation in new service upgrade projects) through affective and economic commitment mediating variables. Second, most small-medium logistics companies showed conservative approaches to participation in new service upgrades. That is not a lack of a corporate spirit of challenge or understanding of new businesses or participation in new service upgrade projects. Since the ecosystem that can be implemented and promoted may still be insufficient, large companies need to change their perception that government support in the field and the companies’ competitiveness will help them improve their competitiveness. The logical flow of the participation in new service upgrade projects due to win-win cooperation has been confirmed. However, since there is a lack of power to execute, each company’s optimal customized win-win cooperation strategy will create an atmosphere that can increase each company’s win-win effect.
