Dietary inclusion effects jack mackerel meal (JM) showing high attractiveness to olive flounder on the growth, nutrient utilization, biological indices, chemical composition, plasma chemistry, non-specific immune responses, and amino and fatty acids of olive flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) were investigated. A total of 675 juvenile fish (initial weight of 5.3 g) were randomly distributed to 27 tanks (25 fish/tank). Sixty percent fish meal (FM) was included in the control (JM0) diet. The graded levels (1, 3, 5, 20, 40, 60, and 100%) of FM were included at the expenses of the same amount of FM, referred to as the JM1, JM3, JM5, JM10, JM20, JM40, JM60 and JM100 diets, respectively. Fish were fed to triplicate groups of fish for 8 weeks. All amino acid contents, except for cystine and proline in experimental diets tended to increase with an increased inclusion levels of JM instead of FM. Sum of saturates and mono unsaturated fatty acids, C20:4n-6, C22:5n-3, and C22:6n-3 contents of the experimental diets increased with an increased levels of JM, but decreased for C18:2n-6, 18:3n-3, 20:5n-3, and sum of n-3 highly unsaturated fatty acids contents. Survival was not affected by the experimental diets. The greatest weight gain and specific growth rate (SG ... 전체 초록 보기
