The Korean medical training program (KMTP) started at 2014 after the agreement with the Saudi MOH in 2013. The total number of saudi fellows who joined the KMTP was 237, where 176 fellows completed their training, and 61 fellows are still under training. So far, 14 saudi fellows had joined colorectal surgery at different centers of Seoul.
I Started the fellowship training program in 2015 for two years in Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital, the Catholic University of Korea, Department of surgery, Colorectal Division under the supervision of Prof. Jun-Gi-Kim and Prof. In kyu Lee. I was lucky to be the first fellow joined the training program followed by three more trainees.
