Molybdenum disulfide (MoS<SUB>2</SUB>), one kind of the transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs), has been attracting a wide range of research because of its useful property. MoS<SUB>2</SUB> exhibits atomically thin two-dimensional (2D) structure, high surface to volume ratio and direct band gap. Especially, monolayer MoS<SUB>2</SUB> has a high electron mobility and on/off ratio, so that it can be used to fabricate field-effect transistors (FETs). Previously MoS<SUB>2</SUB> FETs have been researched as gas sensors due to its high sensitivity to gas molecule adsorption.
