The present study deals with the modeling of a sustainable supply chain where the objective is fixed to reduce the carbon emission control the production process so that the defective items generate at a low rate. This model comprises a single supplier, single manufacturer, and multiple retailers. Setup cost investment is incorporated, and the defective cost is shown for the defective items in the manufacturer section. Except for the setup cost and the holding cost, all costs are being fuzzified, and then and special algebraic method is taken to optimize the total cost of the supply chain. A numerical example is also done to show the inevitability of the model. Moreover, a lemma is formed to validate the global optimality of the result. In this study, the retailer maintains the exact order so that the excess holding cost could be reduced. Some recommendations are done for further extension of this study.
