Background : The purpose of this study was to investigate the vasorelaxant activity and action mechanism of the ethanol extract of Prunus mume (Siebold) Siebold & Zucc. branch (PMB).
Methods and Results : PMB (2 –30 μg/㎖) activity on endothelium-intact and endothelium-denuded aortic rings pre-contracted by PE (1 μM) was determined. PMB caused concentration-dependent vasorelaxation on endothelium-intact but did not cause vasorelaxation on endothelium-denuded aortic rings. Pre-incubation with NG-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester (L-NAME), indomethacin, L-NAME + indomethacin, 1H-[1,2,4]oxadiazolo[4,3-a]quinoxalin-1-one (ODQ), methylene blue (MB), atropine, tetraethyl ... 전체 초록 보기
