Induction and development of flowers in the cultivated strawberry have been extensively researched because of the commercial importance of this plant. It has been proven that the use of night interruption (NI) light can regulate flowering of photoperiodic plant species. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of NI light on flower induction in strawberry ‘Seolhyang’ and ‘Maehyang’. The circadian rhythm of the plants grown in a semi-closed walk-in growth chamber with 25/15°C day/night temperatures was interrupted at night for a total of 4 h using either red, blue, or far-red light-emitting diodes (LED).
