Shields used in medical institutions are mainly used in the form of sheets. The density and thickness of the shielding sheet depend on the process technology and the blending of the shielding material and the base material, and in order to increase the density, it is necessary to reduce the porosity between particles and increase the particle packing. This study aimed to evaluate the shielding performance according to the particle size for lightening of shield and thin thickness. The tungsten was mixed with high-density polyethylene under the same process technology conditions to fabricate three types of sheets according to each particle size. ... 전체 초록 보기
