Researches for 3D vessel network reconstruction in microfluidic platforms have been studied, but it was difficult to observe angiogenesis with high throughput for various cancer types. Here, we developed a high-throughput platform to screen effects of five different types of cancer cells. We designed two channels, central channel and anchor-island, to separate cell culture compartments and enable selective fluid patterning. The hydrogel was patterned into different channels selectively by spontaneous capillary flow to construct 3D cell culture environment.
