The bioreactor can create a cell culture environment by mimicking in-vivo mechanical stress and strain. It helps somatic cell division and producing keratins that build skin barriers. However, the commercial bioreactors have some problems like deforming cells three-dimensionally on two axes. Thus, the purpose of this study was to develop a novel bioreactor that applies triaxial force to skin cells and simulate its function.
