The emergence of multidrug resistant (MDR) bacteria has evolved in response to extensive use of antibiotics and represents a significant issue in the biomedical field and public health concern. However, a treatment of MDR bacteria has limitations due to time-consuming for isolation and ineffective antibiotics. Photodynamic therapy using a quantum dot (QD) is recently proposed as a promising solution for killing MDR bacteria.
