Cyclosporin A (CyA) is a secondary metabolite produced from various species of fungi which has been used to suppressing organ transplant infection, immune disease as an immunosuppressive drug. Tolypocaladium inflatum is known as one of the fungi that produce lots of CyA. Many studies on T. inflatum culture have been conducted to increase CyA production.
