Ag doped ZnO nanoparticles were directly synthesized using sol-gel method. The synthesized photocatalysts were optically characterized by UV-VIS spectroscopy, photoluminescence spectroscopy. The photocatalytic activity of the photocatalyst was examined by photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue.
