Poly-N-isopropylacrylamide (PNIPAm) is a temperature-sensitive hydrogel, polymer that generally represents the LCST (lower critical solution temperature) behavior around 32 ℃. This LCST is used in many applications such as drug delivery, wound dressings, capacitor, smart coating and mask packs.
