Regional decline is occurring due to the increase in population decline and rapid aging nationwide. In addition, various efforts and attempts are being made to revitalize the declining and aging regions in many regions. In particular, as an urban regeneration new deal project implemented by the country, various urban regeneration techniques are developed and applied by utilizing the characteristics and resources of each region.
The classification of local resources should be modified or supplemented according to the purpose and importance of the research, and the application of the urban regeneration method should also support and apply different support systems or application stages such as the basic, regional and national level.
Therefore, this study attempts to classify and classify various regional resources, suggest appropriate urban regeneration methods for each regional resource, and present support systems and application stages to be considered when applying the urban regeneration methods.
