Korean society is rapidly aging, and the poverty rate for the elderly is the highest among OECD countries. However, the awareness of the elderly problem has not been able to keep up with the pace. It was necessary to develop a “senior talent sharing platform,” which considers seniors as talent providers and arranges for seniors" talents (knowledge, skills, experience) to be shared with consumers. Therefore, this study attempted to explore the needs of talent consumers (learners) prior to platform development. Needs searching was compared and analyzed before/after Covid19 pandemic. Courses preferences remained unchanged before and after Covid19 pandemic in the order of cooking and beverage (79%), wisdom in life (28%), and know-how in life (25%). The big difference before and after the coronavirus Covid19 pandemicis that the rate of intention to take courses has been lowered from 93% to 83%. This is because the rate of not intending to attend classes in 20s generation has increased significantly. As a result of interview analysis, most of them think positively about platform development, and they evaluated that senior social contribution and knowledge sharing will be a means to improve the quality of life as well as self-realization of seniors. In addition, it was evaluated as a way to overcome generational communication and generational conflict, and to reduce the generational gap.
