Pupose: The purpose of this study was to examine the characteristics of participation in sports and physical activity among elderly with disabilities and to suggest how to invigorate their participation in sports for all. Methods: A review of National Surveys was conducted using data from 2017, 2018 and 2019 reports of the National Sport Participation Survey for Persons with Disabilities. Results: First, the participation rates of 60"s old with disabilities in sports for all were slightly higher over the past three years than those of 40~50"s old with disabilities. Second, the 60"s old with disabilities participated in sports and physical activity voluntarily. Third, only 50 percent of the 60"s old with disabilities knew there were sports facilities nearby, and they preferred to work out in their homes. Fourth, 60 with disabilities were mostly walking, jogging and swimming. Conclusion: First, it should promote accessing sports information through the Internet utilizing multi-media sources, not solely via TV. Second, 60"s old with disabilities should be encouraged to participate in clubs and classes; our data indicates most of them currently exercise alone. Third, swimming, water jogging and aerobics, and other aquatic programs should be provided. Fourth, it is necessary to foster capable leaders who understand disabled person and apply appropriate adapted physical activity for disabled persons.
