A considerable change is foreseen in the present industrial technology subject due to the educational reform and the revision of the 7th curriculum, etc. The industrial technology subject in the 7th curriculum should not only reflect the intention of the educational reform to the fullest, but be a solution to the problems the industrial technology subject in academic high school is presently facing. The purpose of this study is to develop the 7th Industrial Technology`s curriculum at the academic high school. The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. In the 7th curriculum, `Industrial Technology` aimes at growing technological literacy by understanding the general matters in industrial technology. 2. Its educational purposes are divided into a general purpose and three particular purposes. 3. Its content is divided into `the understanding of industrial technology`, `manufacturing`, and `construction`. 4. Its teaching method is presented both comprehensively and concretely in each domain. 5. The criteria of development and deliberation are presented by six clauses.
