High additional value is achieved in fashion products usually depending on its materials. Appropriate fabrication will enhance fashion quality, function and merchandizing in fashion business. And most of famous fashion designers are spending a lot of time on selecting fabric materials or developing new fabrics in order to present his/her brand concept for new season, There had been no such a textbook that connects the materials and the design, information, or fabric finishing, etc. in textiles and clothing field of the world. Therefore we developed a new textbook as a tool of apparel fabrication which helps the students understand the process of fabrication and take the materials comply with the needs from textile and fashion industry. One of the purposes of this book is to provide students of textile and clothing with the methods enhancing the quality of ready-to-wear apparel. The book takes industry and fashion design approach, integrating all of the traditional fabric materials, subsidiary materials, image and concept of fashion, processes of textile ＆ fashion industries and consumer's claims.(중략)
