1. Introduction: This research was done to classify side and back view types of lower body from waistline to gluteal furrow line individually, and to analyze correspondence these side view types with back view types. 2. Research Method (1) The subjects of this study were 191 female college students from 18 to 24 years old residing in Pusan urban area. (2) The photographing method was used, 10 items were measured from the side view of photos and 10 items were measured from the back view of photos. 3. Research Results and examinations (1) Classification side view types of lower body from waistline to gluteal furrow line: 4 factors were extracted through factor analysis and those factors comprised 87.6％ of total variance. Factor 1. Side thickness, Factor 2. Protrusion of hip, Factor 3. Protrusion of abdomen, Factor 4. Droop of abdomen and hip. By using factor scores, 3 clusters of side view types were selected. 23.0％ of subjects who took part in this research were belonged to Type 1 which characteristic was thick and droopy hip. 28.8％ of subjects were belonged to Type 2 which characteristic was slim and flat hip. 48.2％ of subjects were belonged to Type 3 which characteristic was normal curve. (2) Classification back view types of lower body from waistline to gluteal furrow line: 3 factors were extracted through factor analysis and those factors comprised 78.6％ of total variance. Factor 1 Back width, Factor 2. Side protrusion, Factor 3. Length. By using factor scores, 4 clusters of back view types were selected. 17.8％ of subjects who took part in this research were belonged to Type 1 which characteristic was wide and straight. 34.5％ of subjects were belonged to Type 2 which characteristic was narrow and curve. 10.5％ of subjects were belonged to Type 3 which characteristic was wide and curve. 37.2％ of subjects were belonged to Type 4 which characteristic was trapezoid shape. (3) Type 1(thick and droopy hip) of side view was correspond with Type 1(wide and straight) and Type 3(wide and curve) of back view, Type 2(slim and flat hip) of side view was correspond with Type 2(narrow and curve) of back view, and Type 3(normal curve) of side view was correspond with Type 4(trapezoid shape) of back view.
