This study conducted a survey on students and graduates regarding the appropriateness of curriculum and training duration for the selection and the acquisition of their qualifications of hazardous substances safety controllers prescribed in Article 15 of the Safety Control of Dangerous Substances Act for the maintenance and safety management of hazardous substances facilities. The curriculum and training time of the current dangerous substances safety controller class trainees will required to be adjusted and subdivided. For this, specified education for each student’s level of education and expansion of the training time for sufficient expertise will be required. Qualification acquisition method through training program completion should also be improved.
