Report Errors
The goal of the 2<SUP>nd</SUP> stage Compact Advanced Satellite development program, based on matured technologies developed by KOMPSAT(Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite) program and aimed for fulfilling future various governmental demands and vitalizing domestic satellite industry, is to develop Compact Advanced Satellites using the 500kg standard platform koreanized throughout the 1<SUP>st</SUP> stage Compact Advanced Satellite development program. Throughout the satellite development led by domestic industries, it is planned to promote the satellite manufacturing industry and to establish the foundation of export market development. Even though it is expected to develop total two satellites (electro-optic camera satellite and C-band SAR satellite), as the 2<SUP>nd</SUP> stage Compact Advanced Satellite development program, according to the final result of the government Preliminary Feasibility Study, development trend and application plan related to 4 satellites examined as the 2<SUP>nd</SUP> stage Compact Advanced Satellite development program are described in this paper.
