This study is a study of adolescent 's smartphone addiction. The happiness level of Koreans is low enough to be ranked 33rd among OECD countries. So We need to look closely to see if Koreans are addicted to drugs and addicted to fill their scarcity of happiness. In Korea, smartphone penetration is remarkably high in the world. And adolescent are using smart devices and skillfully, relying on smart phones in every area of life. According to the social indicators of Korea in 2018, it is classified as dependency on 1/3 of smartphone users, and game and SNS are related to dependency. Therefore, this study divides smartphone addiction into smartphone overdependence, game addiction, and SNS addiction, and analyzed again by gender. Study results showed that stress appeared to have the greatest impact parameters, the following was found to be depressed. In other words, mental health factors were influential. And the male students were highly related to their friendship in the social network factors. However, the girls did not show the same results, so there was a difference. And the policy suggestions are suggested considering these differences.
