This study attempted to investigate structural relationships between perceptions of cosmetology industry growth potential & importance of convergence industry and importance of personal competency by cosmetologists’ achievement goal orientation. the results found the followings: Mastery-approach goal orientation had a significant influence on perceptions cosmetology industry growth potential & importance of convergence industry and importance of personal competency. In addition, perception of cosmetology industry growth potential revealed a significant effect on perceptions of importance of convergence industry and importance of personal competency. In terms of the mediating effects of the perception of cosmetology industry growth potential between perceptions of achievement goal orientation and importance of convergence industry & importance of personal competency, mastery-approach goal orientation showed perfect mediating effects. In addition, perceptions of cosmetology industry growth potential and importance of personal competency were very high while perception of importance of convergence industry was slightly low. The above results confirm that training institutes need to take different approaches on the application of convergence industry and improvement of personal competency according to cosmetology industry workers’ characteristics. Furthermore, it is required to keep teaching and sharing a cosmetology industry vision.
