Single-parent families face many challenges in the formation process, such as a sharp decrease in income, burden of child rearing, household burdens, and social and institutional prejudice. It is difficult for a woman to re-enter the labor market immediately after the formation because it is difficult to have a stable career in the labor market due to family life-long events such as marriage or childbirth (Kim Ga-yul, 2007). In addition, if you have young children, you will need a suitable and secure residence to raise your child. In other words, in the process of forming a single-parent family housing movement is generated and the demand for housing suitable for the new situation (Kirsten Gram-Hanssen, 2005), a situation that requires a housing welfare policy suitable for the situation.
The study tracked the housing history of single-parent families to determine the realities of the situation and demonstrated differences in housing movement by type of single-parent family. The study method was typed into a single-parent group by characteristic cluster using a two-stage cluster analysis of SPSS, using the chi-square test of pearson residential history by type, that is, residential mobile areas, occupancy forms, housing type differences were analyzed. Through this, we will use this as the basis for a demonstration of the difference separating single-parent families from moving to housing, and to find housing assistance that is appropriate for the situation of single-parent families.
