무용학원은 무용전공자 양성에 초석이 되는 2차 교육기관으로서 일반학교 정규교과에서 충족되기 어려운 전문 무용교육을 경험하게 한다(서영, 2008, p.74). 그러나 최근 교육의 경향이 입시위주의 교육에 집중되어 있고, 사회적으로 경기불황이 지속됨에 따라 예능학원의 수가 점차 감소되고 있는 추세에 있어(충청일보, 2014.2.6.) 향후 무용학원의 수강생을 확보하고 유지하는 일은 점점 어려워질 것으로 예상된다. 또한 학령인구 감소에 따른 대학구조 조정은 무용학과의 폐지나 통합으로 이어짐에 따라 무용인구 축소가 우려되고 있고, 이에 무용학원의 연쇄적인 부도가 불가피한 상황에 놓여있다. 따라서 무용학원을 성공적으로 경영하기 위해서는 학원의 경영자, 지도자, 그리고 수강자간의 관계를 종합적으로 파악하여 평가할 수 있는 지표와 이를 위한 세부전략이 필요하다. 이에 이 연구는 무용학원 경영성과표와 모형을 구축하는데 있어 BSC 관점을 기반으로 설계하고, 이에 대한 전략체계도를 구축하는 것에 목적을 두었다. 그리고 BSC 관점 모형과 성과표, 전략체계도는 고등교육기관과 교육인적자원부의 BSC 모형을 무용학원의 특수성에 맞게 융합하였다. 연구 결과 무용학원 경영 시 참고해야할 경영 전략은 사명을 비롯하여 재무적 관점, 고객 관점, 교육정책 관점, 내부프로세스 관점, 학습 및 성장 관점, 자원 관점의 측면에서 총 15가지 성과목표를 설정하였고, 성과목표를 달성했는지 여부를 파악할 수 있는 성과지표로는 총33개가 구축되었다.

Dance academy so as to experience a professional dance education which is hardly filled with regular school subject as a general secondary educational institutions underlying the training of useless major. However, the trend of education of recent are concentrated in the education of the entrance examination center, while the recession subsequent socially, there is a tendency that the number of performing arts academy has decreased gradually, and ensure the students of dance academy future it is expected that it is, to maintain the increasingly difficult. In addition, structural adjustment of the university due to the decrease in the school-age population has led to the integration and abolition of useless department, reduction of dance population is concerned, it is placed in a situation where dishonored chain-reaction of this dance academy can not be avoided have. Therefore, in order to be successful in the management of dance academy, and indicators that can be used to understand the overall relationship management of school leaders, and students among themselves and evaluation, detailed strategy for that is required. The study, which is placed an object of the invention is designed based on the viewpoint of the BSC in building the model and dance School Management Scorecard, build strategies system diagram for this. And, scorecard perspectives and model, system diagram strategic BSC was fused to fit the peculiarities of the school dancing BSC model of Education and Human Resources Development and higher education institutions. Including the mission, perspective financial perspective, the customer, from the point of view of education policy, management strategies should be reference of dance institute management results of the study, a total of 15 point of view of the Interior process, the perspective of learning and growth, in terms of the point of view of resource the index of performance may be used to set performance goals of the type, to grasp whether to meet performance goals, total 33 pieces were constructed.
