The purpose of this study was to identify the kinematic sequence of the “grand jeté en tournant motion”, which refers to working on the ballet dancers' body motions. Nineteen skilled female collegiate and high school ballet dancers performed the grand jeté en tournant (1st arms position with left leg dérriré－plié－chassé－jumping－arabesque pose; five successful trials for each participants). For the kinematic sequence, the graph lines showed a start inclination (increase acceleration) and declination (decrease acceleration) pattern of proximal and distal segments. The pelvis showed a peak angular velocity value during the grand jeté en tournant motion.
