This study investigated the relationship between Chinese women's perception of patriarchal conflicts and psychological meanings in their leisure experience. Data were collected by sample survey of 170 Chinese women. Based on previous researches, patriarchal conflicts consist of two dimensions(i.e., situational conflict, and cultural conflict) and the meanings of leisure experience consist of two dimensions(i.e., escaping and resistance). Additionally personality traits of 5 factors were considered as the moderators the relationship between patriarchical conflicts and psychological meanings of leisure experience. The results showed that the cultural conflict had an significant effect on escaping and resistance, while the situational conflict had an significant effect on meaning of resistance. With regard to moderating effect of personality, some dimensions of personality had significantly moderated the effects of two patriarchical conflicts on meanings in leisure experience. This study informed that Chinese women had patriarchal conflicts in their routine life tend to treat and manage their lives positively through leisure.
