This study is to collect and analyze the primary data collected from teachers and students to develop the semantic field-based English vocabulary teaching model. According to Maiguashca(1984), Nation(2001), and Crystal(2006), learners can do learn English vocabularies with ease through holistic-relational concept as well as synonymy and antonymy of English vocabulary. Like this, the semantic field approach considers vocabulary a kind of organized system or a collection of interrelating networks of relations of subcategories of words. For more effective teaching vocabulary in English education, this research planned to collect the teacher's as well as learner's needs by questionnaire survey and a free-answer survey. The results were analyzed based on the survey and used for vocabulary teaching model by class hour. As a result, for an effective alternative to the traditional teaching vocabulary methods, the semantic field based vocabulary teaching needs more systematic approach to the learner's comprehension of the subcategories contained in words. In other words, however a word is not just a word but is like a bunch of the subcategorized set of word. The model will be expected to be efficient educational result in English vocabulary teaching.
