The semantic system of the lexicon about the name of a thing among the Korean language classification book in late Choseon dynastyLee Duck-Hee(Young-Do girls Highschool)The purpose of this paper is groping the semantic system of vocabulary in 《Jae-mul-bo》(1798), 《Mul-bo》(1820), 《Chung-kwan-mulmung-ko》(presume early 19th century), 《Mulmung-ko》(presume 1820s) and 《Kwang-jae-mul-bo》(presume 19th century) which are known as the lexicon of the name of a thing among the Korean language classification book in Korean modern age, late Choseon dynasty.The studies of a lexicon of the name of a thing until now are about just the history of the Korean language mainly and scarcely accessed lexically. By the way these lexicon of the name of a thing have today's lexical characteristic as they have double structure of lemmas and interpretations. Because the lemmas and the definiens which describes the meaning of a lexicon of the name of a thing have system in their way and the vocabularies have the meaning system of the up and down relation, synonymy relation and antonym relation. Therefore a lexicon of the name of a thing is the document of the first stage which has the lexical system and appeared out of necessity of itself in the era of the practical science.
