Korean interests and experiences on Japanese have been made through the historical accidents in the form of relationship of two countries, and the typical model has been specially established throughout the seven years of Imjin waeran(Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592). The Koran-Japanese relationship in the history of the modern period, from the Japanese invasions of Korea to the late distorted historical accounts about Korea in Japanese historical text, has been continually made into the Korean encounters with the Japanese in Korean Literature. And, in the records of Choson embassy to Japan(in the 17-19th century), the interests on the Mt. Kumkang and the national travels are growing through the controversies on the Kumkangsan(金剛山) and Fuji Mt.(富士山), and the Confucious. And I think that the struggles on the bothe countries, in the understanding of history and culture through the controversies on History of the Old Age and etc., are continually linked into the late distorted historical accounts. This korean encounters with the Japanese could be made the studies of the comparative Literature between Koran-Japanese to expend into the studies on the history of both cultures and thoughts expended, and presented the direction of the literary studies toward the united studies.
