“The second form” which is part of Chinese classical literary theory has rich connotation, and the academia’s research of “the second form” which has been limited to “literary style” has not covered “style of literary criticism”. Same as “literary style”, “style of literary criticism” manifest the aesthetics significance of “the second form” by expression, rhetoric, style, and effects. Through employing the theory and method of “the second form”, we can not only disclose the value of form of Chinese classical literary theory, but also supply reference and enlightenment to the creation, acceptance and research of “style of literary criticism” nowadays.
