The purpose of this thesis is to explain the syntactic and semantic characteristics of ‘-eossdeoni’. ‘-eossdeoni’ is constituted of '-eossdeo' and '-(eu)ni', but it is just a simple ending in synchronic perspectives. To identify its characteristics, we divided its relational function into three('sequential, discovering, contrasting' relation) and explained each characteristics of them. In case of the sequential relation, the events of the former clause and the latter clause are occurred sequentially, meanwhile in case of the discovering relation, the event of the former clause and the perceiving process of the event of the latter clause are occurred sequentially. And in case of the contrasting relation, the former clause, the constitution of which is the perceiving process, is followed by the perceiving process of the event of the latter clause. Finally all of them share the characteristics of the sequential relations in spite of the slight differences. The another common characteristic among them is that all of them have the view of the speaker's observing the latter clause.
