Third, 85.1% of the subjectsreported not having a regular health examination. Despite the negative effect caused by harmful chemicalsubstances in the nail care service, those working in this industry do not accept such substances as veryharmful substances without practicing any act to prevent related diseases. Such tendency seems to haveoriginated from their failure of taking proper action when experiencing subjective symptoms as they understandthose symptoms as temporary. Not only for those working in the nail care industry but also for beauty careprofessionals who deal with a large amount of chemical substances, a regular health examination as wellas special health examination that assesses accumulation of chemical substances should be provided forconsistent health management among the nail care professionals.
