Revolution, scythian and heresy ideology, pursuit of its origin in the Russian soul, awareness of the great role of the individual in history, faith in the special mission of the Russian people, which is raised by themselves - these are the main lineages of the Zamjatin’s writing and world view, being developed in the drama ‘Atilla’. This work reflects various concepts of philosophy and anthropology which were widely spread from the end of the 19th to the early 20th century, and which allow us to talk about the issue of possible future development paths of Russia and human beings. As an unfinished drama, ‘Atilla’, with the unfinished novel ‘Divine Punishment’, contains enough clues to show clearly the best of the author’s artistic legacy. Therefore, the theme of the Hun leader Attila becomes a denouement of the over-the-year work and creative ending scenes. In this work, in the image of Attila the eternal scythian aspirations for freedom and spiritual liberation, rebellious efforts towards world transformation, and the artistic theme of obedience to authority or power are organically synthesized.
