The purpose of this research was to analyze the physical education teaching behaviors of elementary school teachers. To achieve this purpose, the qualitative case study research method was employed. The subjects consisted of four elementary school teachers(2 males and 2 females). In order to collect the data needed for the study, qualitative research data collection methods such as participant observation, document gathering, and in-depth interview were used. The collected materials were analyzed by using the encoding and inductive category analysis, and the trustworthiness, morality were ascertained. The teaching behaviors of elementary school teachers were categorized into task-presentation, motivation, management, feedback. The results of the analyses and interpretation on the study are as follows. Task-presentation is concerned with the teachers' ability to decide upon a task and group that is appropriate to each student. It also concerned with the teachers' ability to explain and demonstrate very simply. Motivation involves using verbal praise, reinforcers, music, skinship and more. Skinship such as high fives and hugs can be one of the teachers' most effective motivator. With regard to management, a balance between sternness and geniality is important, and with regard to feedback, generality and promptness is required. Feedback is also effective when the teacher corrects the students while participating in the students' activities.
