Nowadays, with the growing interest in human rights or environment rights, the CSR is hotly debated. Also because of international organization's positive introduction atmosphere and rising standard of CSR in USA and Europe, the revel of intervention on CSR is being emphasized as being directly related to corporation survival. But it is arguable about what the CSR is and where the scope of its responsibility is, and it doesn't show this problem's unified approach. Also some studies show that the corporation still considers the activity of CSR as the cost and negative affecting on the corporate performance. According to this some studies, there are some negative views on the activity of CSR. All of these situations make a company available to a set of activities, beyond the normal course of the Corporate Social Responsibility (the CSR). While the previous CSR activities have failed to alleviate social issue with little benefits of business activities, this dissertation suggests the emerging concept of the Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility (the Strategic CSR). That is, the corporation considers the CSR as a new motivation through the CSR for Corporate Sustainability,Strategic Resource and Competitive Advantage. Therefor, this study takes theories and international trend on CSR and the Strategic CSR, and seeks for solution to increase its competitiveness and Corporate Sustainability.
