The purpose of this study is to examine the inherent point of view on the welfare education content in the unit ‘Social Welfare' in the Society-Culture textbooks. For this purpose, I critically analysed the unit of ‘Social Welfare' in the 7th high school studies curriculum and textbooks. The result of the analysis are as follows :First, to teach at the University of Social Welfare and Social Welfare Unit in high school textbooks which compared to the amount of content and composition of the macro-perspective that is primarily focused on social institutions and policies are being described. Second, the concept of social welfare states is not consistent. Third, an introduction to the country's welfare system is not sufficient. Fourth, negatively related to social welfare, and that the term is used. Fifth, social welfare to eliminate inequalities between social classes is understood as a social institution. In addition, the function of social welfare to social control objectives with emphasis on social stability is one. Accordingly the social welfare as a social institution, mutual help function is the lack of explanation on features. Ultimately, the description should be corrected partiality. and the unit‘Social Welfare' in the Society-Culture textbooks in Social Stratification and Inequality unit rather than in the unit ‘everyday life and social institutions' have to move to the section that should be discussed in depth.
