This study investigated any relationship among personality traits of elementary school students in higher grade, life stress and mental health through five factors of personality characteristics. The purpose of this study was to help elementary school students in higher grade to adjust to everyday life and to live in a healthy, to get consultation strategy to connect students experiencing life stress and mental health problems with five factors of personality characteristics by becoming an adult to live happily ever. The data of the study were analyzed using SPSS WIN 15.0 and summarizing the results of the study are as follows. First, looking at influence of five factors of personality traits of elementary school students in higher grade to life stress, emotional stability great influenced on life stress in common. Second, looking at influence of five factors of personality traits of elementary school students in higher grade to mental health, emotional stability great influenced on subordinate factor of mental health such as personal sensuous temperament, depression, hostility, anxiety. Based on the above results of study, I presented suggestions for the significance and limitation of the study and follow-up study.
