The purpose of this study was to investigate any links between adolescent's happiness and adolescent's perception of parent-child communication, peer relationships, academic stress. For this purpose, the participants consisted of 371 high school students dwelling in Incheon city. The most salient results from this study were as follows : First, there were not statistically significant differences in the adolescent's happiness according to the grade and sex. Second, parent-adolescent open communication were positively associated with the adolescent's happiness.
But parent-adolescent problem communication were negatively associated with the adolescent's happiness partly.
Third, peer relationships were positively associated with the adolescent's happiness. Fourth, academic stress were negatively associated with the adolescent's happiness. Fifth, as the results of regression analysis, peer relationships, study stress were influential factors in explaining the adolescent's happiness.
