This thesis is to review the story about how the study and education were formed by the intellectuals of the times centered on the historical view and educational view of Mikami Sanji(三上参次), the historian representing Japanese modern times. The previous studies have evaluated Mikami Sanji as the figure who was suppressed ideologically owing to South and North Dynasty Legitimacy. However, he supported the compatible theory of South and North Dynasty based on the historical view of positivism, but maintained the position that the subjects should not argue the legitimacy of the imperial line, and emphasized the education of filial piety instead of the legitimacy theory. And the incident over South and North Dynasty Legitimacy was the reproduction of the world of 『Taiheiki(太平記)』repeated from the pre-modern times, that is, the issue of the repeated structure between the royal subjects centered on Kusunoki Masashige and the enemy of the royalty represented by Aishikaga Dakawooji. Therefore, this paper argues that Mikami Sanji also, after the incident over 1911 South and North Dynasty Legitimacy Issue, used Kusunoki Masashige as a representative royalist in the education positively, and the sense as a royal subject himself led to the worship to Meiji Emperor.
