The purposes of this study were to analyze problems affiliated with application of technology area to the actual spot in elementary school, and to suggest improvement for it. This study was carried out through telephone interview and questionnaire survey method. The population sample for the study constituted 458 completed questionnaires from purposive sample of 760 elementary school students. The statistical techniques used in the study were frequency and percentage utilizing the SPSS PC. The major findings of this study were as follows.(1) According to the investigation about the performance rate of an practice instruction, the performance rate in the unit of 'electricityㆍelectron' was very low because of teachers' insufficient knowledge and skill about it. So, in-service teacher education should be made and contents of textbook should be reorganized more easy to learn in the future.(2) Using degree of 'making a bookshelf or a memo panel' to a real life was identified very low. So, they should be replaced for 'building a nest for birds', or 'making decoration for the edge of a flower bed'. (3) Analogue circuit multi-tester was identified too hard for elementary students to read. So, it should be replaced for digital circuit multi-tester which is more convenient to distinguish for them.(4)Putting together electron kit by soldering have lots of shortcomings which are dangerous for students and not easy to reuse. Therefore, it is more desirable to be substituted for a block type which is possible to reuse. (5) Equipment and facilities for elementary technology education was not sufficient . Therefore, administrative and financial support should be made to facilitate the practice instruction.
