In a crime scene, there are many kinds of fingerprints. They play an important role in tracking identification of criminals. latent fingerprints exist in many different ways so that we need diverse treatment processing methods. In powdering method and chemical method for the detection of fingerprints, we usually use the powdering method. Mostly in our nation, we use black or white powder as an achromatic color and lift pad because they are speedy and easy to detect. But the use of an achromatic color powdering methods cannot make a resonable result according to its background. And also the transferring method can make a loss of fingerprint's ridge. For the detection of fingerprints, there are diverse fluorescent powders and achromatic color powders. Fluorescent powders response its own color in near-ultraviolet area. Those fluorescent fingerprints with specific color filter, they can be more clear and expect the transfer effects to separate from background. To make photographs in a crime scene is very difficult so that it is not useful. Therefore, this study discusses complementary color photographic system and its theory for the fluorescent fingerprint. They can prove the effects of experiments through complementary color photographing. Complementary color photographing system makes a speedy process to detect latent fingerprints and to take photographs simultaneously. And also, we can expect distinct fingerprints from the diverse color objects' background.
