It is not too much to say that the change of time, intellectual information society, is a speed revolution. It is rushing with all speed toward somewhere nobody can forecast destroying value of industrialized society at once and creating new value. Few people can be fit for the speed of change. So we are looking at the scenery with fearful eyes. Just like we can’t enjoy free lives even though we want, for those who can’t catch up with the speed of information society, the right each individual can choose will gradually decrease. Unexpectedly, I came to think about a life that can’t live as he wants. Among privileges human being enjoys, freedom is what makes human value lofty most. So everybody is dreaming of freedom desperately. (But it is not true that everybody can have freedom. Freedom is what is obtained and is a special thing to be rewarded to those who pay for it.) While I was thinking of a life that can’t choose, I thought about animal’s life that is degraded to part of human life. How different is human life from animal’s life? Although we don’t take an example special places such as slum, jail, forced camp of mental hospital, it is not that hard to say that our lives living in systematized and tamed society for survival giving up the lowest resistance are just the same as animal’s life. Perhaps, our lives might be controlled more perfectly than we feel and know. There is no joy, sadness, hope and despair, life and death, and past and future in anxiety caused from uncertain future and unexpectable change. There are only vagueness and conflict of life, and people and animals under anonymity. Just like lives of possessed animals remain anonymous such as elephant and giraffe.... I realized there was a human life through a scenery with animals.
